What's new at Cuatro Rios?
Highlights of 2008        From last year's shows we selected  four horses to compete at the PFHA Grand National Championship. All horses were the High Point winners in their divisions in 2008.

In 2008, Glen was awarded Senior High Point Amateur Owner of the Year for the 6th consecutive year.  Glen was also awarded High Point Amateur Owner of the Year - All Age Groups!
Patriarca was awarded his "Legion of Merit" in 2008.  Patriarca did not get to compete at Nationals this year due to lack of trailer space.  Watch for his return to the show ring in 2009!         Caporal was awarded his “Legion of Merit” in 2008.  In November Caporal was sold to a wonderful home.  His new owner plans to continue Caporal’s show career and although the other horses and his human family at Cuatro Rios miss him terribly, we are all happy that he is with lovely people who will enjoy this special stallion.        Vaquera was named to the top ten dam list!  We are very proud of this very special mare.
New Blessings!        This year we were blessed with the safe arrival of four beautiful foals.  Three of the foals were Partiarca's first babies!

Hildardo García with Cuatro Rios VL Arabesque and Cuatro Rios Aristocrático (foaled May 8, 2008).
Heather Whelehon with Cuatro Rios VL Porcelana (foaled April 16, 2008).	Cuatro Rios VL Encanto     Dam: Cuatro Ríos VL Encantadora   Sire: Cuatro Rios VL Patriarca   Bay colt foaled May 16, 2008   Outgoing, beautiful boy.   Cuatro Rios VL La Eterna     Dam: Cuatro Ríos VL La Gaitana   Sire: Cuatro Rios VL El Eterno   Bay filly foaled June 16, 2008   At this early stage she looks fino, very   sweet girl.
